By themselves, conventional outdoor speakers can have a difficult time re-creating deep bass notes in wide open outside environments. If you want rich, full-range sound outdoors, you might want to add an outdoor subwoofer to supplement your outdoor speakers.
Each of the passive outdoor subwoofers pictured on this page can be used in conjunction with a pair of all-weather satellite speakers. Run direct burial speaker cables from your stereo amplifier to the sub, and then out of the subwoofer to each of the satellites.
Also need a pair of satellite outdoor speakers to go with your sub? Consider purchasing the Polk Audio Atrium Garden Speaker System that includes the Sub10 10 inch subwoofer pictured to the right, plus a pair of Sat30 satellite speakers at Amazon.com. |
