Axiom Algonquin Value-priced at less than four hundred bucks per pair, Axiom Audio's Algonquin waterproof outdoor speakers are pictured to the right in Spiced Rum, one of four available finishes. It features the same design as Axiom's award-winning M3 bookshelf speaker, with a highly-braced cabinet for excellent rigidity and stability outdoors.
Algonquin speakers are painted with automotive-tough paint and topped with an extremely resilient clear coating of ultraviolet ray inhibitor that prevents sun damage to the speaker, and they also feature an angled, screened port to allow solid bass sound to flow out, but at the same time keep pests and water from coming in. Axiom has even plastic covered the gold-plated binding posts so they won't rust. They are covered with a five-year warranty.
